Research centres
Pure and applied research into radioactive waste and other nuclear related matters is carried out at a number of research centres around the world. Information can be obtained on the "state of the art" in various areas, as well as solutions to specific problems. Some of these centres are government funded/sponsored, some are associated with universities, while others are funded by industry associations. Examples of all types are included below.
